About the directors at WLP Accountants in Taree & Forster

Rhonda Haworth
Email: Rhonda@wlpca.com.au
Rhonda obtained her professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant in 1984 with Sydney firm, Hungerford Hancock & Offner. Her position as Senior Audit Assistant with the firm gave her valuable experience in auditing large and small manufacturing companies, registered clubs, credit unions, auctioneers, transport and investment companies. Rhonda is also a registered Tax Agent and Self-Managed Superfund Auditor.

Having come from a rural background in the Tamworth region, and working as an accountant in Bingara and Moree for 15 years, Rhonda has extensive experience with the agricultural sector. In 1999, Rhonda and her family relocated to Forster and joined the firm in our Forster office as a Taxation/Small Business Manager. In 2002, Rhonda moved to our Taree office to assist with the increased workload created after the tragic death of one of the Taree partners, Mark Petersen. Rhonda received a promotion to a Director of the firm in 2003.

Rhonda’s current areas of specialisation include audit, taxation, self-managed superannuation—tax and audit, business planning, estate planning and corporate structures.

Scott holds a current Tax Agent Registration, is a qualified Self-Managed Superfund Auditor and also holds an Australian Financial Services License (limited to superannuation). In the past ten years, Scott has acquired extensive experience in all taxation matters, business planning, corporate structures and self-managed superannuation funds.
